Get to Know Me

A Texas State University alum, Lisa Sexton is an esteemed Austin real estate professional. Offering a truly comprehensive and elevated experience to her clients, Lisa holds several designations, including Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Certified Negotiation Expert, and Council of Residential Specialists.

She has also received many accolades throughout her career, including being recognized alongside her partner, Susan Doyle, as a Top Team of Two by the Austin Business Journal.  Together, they have also been named Platinum Top 50 winners, are current members of The Luxury League of Austin, and have been part of Austin's Elite 25 multiple years in a row.

In 1994, Lisa was doing environmental work and serving as a member of Barton Creek’s Architect Control Committee. Around that time, she started working for Barton Creek’s developer and learned about everything from infrastructure to sales in housing development. After five years of being a driven employee, the company president promoted Lisa to a sales job, and she got her real estate license shortly after.

Having worked with a Barton Creek developer for two decades, Lisa is well-versed in the area and its market trends. During her time there, she started to branch out and sell homes in other locations throughout central and west Austin while still primarily focusing on Barton Creek. She has also ventured into communities serviced by the Eanes Independent School District—the same district all four of her children have attended school!

A happy and energetic person, Lisa loves meeting new people and anticipating new challenges each day. She treats every transaction as an opportunity to change someone’s life and truly believes that home is where the heart is. Her clients can expect to work with someone who has their best interests at heart.

Determined and detail-oriented, Lisa tailors her plans to each client’s unique needs. The majority of her clients stem from resort communities and seek homes in the luxury market. Lisa specializes in selling the luxury lifestyle. She excels at listening and communicating effectively with buyers and sellers to achieve their goals. Best of all, she remains available morning and night, even working through holidays and family vacations if necessary to ensure she is always available to her clients.

An outdoor enthusiast, Lisa finds her career and life in Austin very rewarding. She loves to work out and enjoys hiking the greenbelt, boating with her friends and family, attending school sporting events, and giving back to the community via volunteer efforts for organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Girl Scouts, and CASA.

Lisa also regularly volunteers at her children’s schools and is a big fan of Westlake football and wrestling! When she’s not busy, Lisa loves to spend time with her husband, kids, and their beloved pets, including a dog named Chewbacca and Carrot the cat.
